Description

This 4 hour workshop provides participants an opportunity for reflection, connection and nurture as we explore countertransference and self of the supervisor issues in the context of clinical supervision. Participants will receive peer supervision of their supervision, as well as support for the challenges we face in our role as supervisors. Through discussion, written explorations, and sand tray we will safely explore concerns while tending to our own needs for nurture, reassurance, challenge, and inspiration. Our time together will concluding with a lunch to nourish our bodies and spirits.

Objectives:

  • Explore countertransference in clinical supervision
  • Identify challenges to self in our work as clinical supervisors
  • Receive support and greater clarity with regards to those challenges
  • Receive peer support and input for best practices in supervision
  • Gain new ideas for engaging our roles as clinical supervisors
