Supervision & Consultation
Supervision/ consultation can take many forms depending on your needs and stage of professional development. In keeping with my therapy approach, our work together will depend on what it is you are seeking. Sandtray and art are especially helpful in exploring professional dimensions. In supervision/ consultation my goal is to provide a safe, supportive place to explore the theory and practice of therapy from the most basic levels to the deepest places of unknowing.
Individual Rates: $100 per hour for licensed clinicians; $90 for pre-licensed clinicians; $75 for students.
Group Rate: $55 per 2 hour group for 3-4 persons. Larger and smaller group prices are adjusted.
Internships opportunities are available on a case by case basis.
Face to face and distance options are available.

July 21st: Family Play Therapy
Therapists working with children and families often struggle in determining when and how to integrate the principles of individual play therapy and traditional family therapy models.Using both didactic and experiential methods, this training will provide participants with guidelines for making treatment decisions that draw from the best of both fields.We will discuss theoretical implications for treatment planning and then identify techniques for various stages and goals in family play therapy.

August 25 & 26: Introduction to Sand Tray Therapy
In this 2 day training, participants will gain a broad understanding of sand tray therapy, and its use in clinical practice. Participants will learn a brief history and rationale for using sand tray, how to set up and maintain a sand tray space and have an opportunity to practice creating and processing sand tray work. We will use didactic, case illustrations and experiential methods for learning.

September 21-24: Supervision, Ethics and Self Retreat (Play Therapy Specific) SPACE IS LIMITED!!
This training is designed to meet the requisite 30 hours of supervisory training necessary to obtain the “S” in RPT-S. We will discuss the complex nature of supervision, the various roles of a supervisor and how to mitigate risks inherent in providing supervision. There will be amble discussion around one’s identity as a supervisor and the nuances of this role, as well as practicing play therapy interventions applied to the supervisory role. Additionally participants will be given prompts and unstructured time to engage in self-reflection regarding their own work.
